RUAH (2026) | A Quiet Meditation on Faith and Humanity
RUAH
A Visual Poem
RUAH explores the painful imbalance between love and desire through the story of a woman who longs to be loved by a man who seeks only her body.
While she believes in the possibility of a shared future, he remains indifferent to the consequences of their intimacy, even when faced with the possibility of a life growing within her.
Through a woman’s vulnerability and the weight of emotional abandonment, the piece reflects on intimacy without responsibility, love without reciprocity, and the loneliness of being left to carry the consequences of a relationship alone.
A reflection on what remains when the body is desired, but the person behind it is never truly seen.
