Maryàm | A Visual Poem
Non-commercialView completed work
MARYAM is a poetic visual exploration of love, sacrifice, and the quiet cost of losing oneself for someone else.
Set against the fading light of the southern coast of Java, the piece reflects on the emotional weight of devotion and the lives women surrender in the name of love. Through intimate performances, restrained imagery, and the presence of the sea, MARYAM explores the space between longing and letting go.
A reflection on love, identity, and the courage to reclaim a life of one’s own.
