We set out from cinema. We grew into a creative workspace.
Fixinema began with camera rental, production, and the conversations around film. Today we've translated that experience into a place where production professionals show their work, get found, and start getting hired.
ORIGINS
It started with equipment, not an app.
Fixinema was founded in Yogyakarta in 2017. Its first form was a camera and equipment rental service.
Being close to production let us see how creative work actually moves: crews recommend each other, projects rest on trust, and knowledge often circulates only inside particular circles.
From there Fixinema grew into a production house for film, advertising, and digital content. But the need we kept seeing was always bigger than any one production—people need access, context, and somewhere to meet.

COMMUNITY
Knowledge becomes access once it's shared.
Classes, workshops, seminars, and conversations with the community widened what Fixinema means as a space for collaboration.
Those activities taught us that a creative ecosystem isn't built with equipment and projects alone. It also needs open knowledge, more humane working hours, and opportunity that doesn't stop at personal connections.
To be a collaborative space for Indonesian film workers, so they can find happiness and wellbeing in their work.
