RENI TALIA (2026) | A Cinematic Interpretation of “Pilu Membiru” by @KuntoAji
RENI TALIA
Visual Poem inspired by “Pilu Membiru” by Kunto Aji, from the album Mantra Mantra.
Reni Talia is a visual poem inspired by Kunto Aji’s “Pilu Membiru,” interpreted through my perspective as a writer and director.
Rather than translating the song into a literal narrative, the project explores its emotional landscape through personal interpretation, using imagery and visual expression to give form to feelings that are often difficult to articulate.
It is an attempt to understand the spaces between grief, memory, and healing, where images become a language of their own.
A personal response to a song, shaped into a visual experience.
